The International Wellness Network, Inc. will be celebrating our 7th Annual Children's Sabbath, October 17-19, 2009 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, in honor of our children around the world. This event was initiated by the National Children's Defense Fund in Washington, D. C. approximately 20 years ago. Faith communities, organizations and community at large are invited to participate in this annual event to recommit ourselves to the vision of a "poverty free world where all children can thrive", as well as recommitting ourselves to embracing children everywhere, supporting them in every way, Spirit,mind and body.

This is an opportunity for our organization to utilize this time not only to celebrate our community children, but also to invite community to share in our programs by generously giving financial resources to our work, as well as sign on as volunteers to help us reach more and more families across America, Africa and Latin American communities

FREEDOM TRAIN CONCERTS is one of our primary initiatives which is not only entertaining but educational, sharing with our audiences the contributions that African Americans gave in the building of America from 1619 to the present. Through this phenomenal program founded by our colleague and partner, Bruce A. Henry, all of the community share in African American history at its best.

Mr. Henry's "Evolution of African American Music" concerts and theatrical productions are available as fundraisers for non profit organizations, as well as corporations, an community concerts.

Join us on October 17-18, 2009 from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Capri Theater, 2027 West Broadway, Minneapolis, Minnesota. Tickets are $25.00 tax deductible.

You can order tickets on line, and we are always open to have our partners share with us a donation for the work that we are doing supporting urban centers across America, Africa and Latin American communities.
