London - 20th November - 2010, Not only is the venue hire business getting busier and more energetic as Christmas approaches, but the catering services offered by London's caterers are getting more creative and dynamic for the festive season too.

The corporate big hitters are back at their event-led best for Christmas, using the catering services of companies like "rhubarb" to create fabulous seasonal food offerings. We are busier than ever with Christmas canapé receptions, food stalls and sushi bars, and our cocktail bars and bowl food offerings.

Christmas specials at our Gallery Mess restaurant at The Saatchi Gallery include Roasted parsnip soup with frazzled chorizo, poached Scottish salmon with star anise and glazed root vegetables, or mincemeat crumble tartlet with whiskey cream. And for thanksgiving at Bond & Brook – prawn cocktail with Russian dressing and Boston devilled eggs, roast turkey with creamed potatoes and green bean casserole, and pumpkin pie with whipped cream. Delicious!

And in Central London – venue hire is hotting up too. Some of our favourite London venues such as The Victoria & Albert Museum, The Natural History Museum, Banqueting House, Guildhall and The National Gallery, are all filling their calendars up with fabulous Christmas parties.

Finally, "rhubarb" on the river – our catering service on board the Silver Fleet of luxury vessels – is also busy and buzzy.
