September 19, 2012, Toronto - Personal Injury and even death can happen in shocking and tragic ways.

Last week, a Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) worker died after being struck by a subway maintenance train. Peter Pavlovski, a 49-year-old TTC veteran, and supervisor of a seven man crew, was involved in a fatal accident that also injured another worker.
This was a shocking and tragic accident, and it demonstrates that accidents can really happen at any time, and any place. There has been no speculation as to why or how this accident happened, but the TTC has publically stated that they will fully co-operate with the Ministry of Labour to investigate “the worst possible thing that can happen in transit” said Andy Byford, CEO of the TTC.

“As a citizen of Toronto, I am personally interested in this case” said Harvey Consky, of Consky & Associates - a personal injury law firm in Toronto. “Our firm specializes in personal injury law, and we are very sensitive to these types of accidents”. Consky went on to explain that his interest in this case is purely personal, but that it highlights the fact that accidents can indeed happen at any time, and any place.

The TTC has been sued in the past for actions contributing to the death of a 17-year old in 2010, but so far, there has been no speculation about this latest accident.
