The Black Georgia USA Pageantry Association launches marketing campaign to celebrate womanhood at its finest

Atlanta, Ga February 2008- Today the Black Georgia USA Pageantry Association launches its new marketing campaign, "The Return of a Lady". The campaign not only commemorates Black History Month but also pays homage to the effect our first lady, Michelle Obama and other women who relentlessly carry themselves in dignified manners have shaped our society as we know it. To launch the campaign, the virtual platform of the association, missblackgeorgia.org will serve as a hub for African American insight, intelligence and beauty. Inspiring to reach new audiences of women of color in the pageantry world, the association will implement a series of state wide point-of-touch events and social networking provisions to give exposure to queens who might otherwise be overlooked.

With a roll out of PSA's, marketing collateral, tours, speaking engagements and more, "The Return of a Lady" will continue to remind women how flattering it is to carry themselves with high standard and celebrate them because of it. The mission of Miss/Ms. Black Georgia USA is to identify, develop, and promote national leadership within the African-American community among women 18-45 years of age. This vision is served through intensive contestant development and by increasingly becoming the largest state provider of scholarships to African American women in Georgia.

Celebrating the power of African American women, the association holds three annual pageants: Miss Black Teen (ages 13 - 17), Miss Black Georgia USA (ages 18 - 27), and Ms. Black Georgia USA (ages 28 -45) all feeding into their national counterparts.
