U.S. Department of State
Diversity Career Networking Event
September 13, 2012 • 6:00pm - 8:00pm

Growing up, I spent most summers in Honduras and I witnessed community members organize civil improvement projects such as protecting the culture of native Garifuna people and I became interested in pursuing a Foreign Service career. As a U.S. diplomat, I have worked extensively throughout Latin America on myriad issues from drug trafficking, human rights, poverty, domestic violence, to economic security. And I’ve done it all while positively affecting American foreign policy abroad.

I’m inviting all U.S. citizens to learn how to serve our country by attending our Diversity Career Networking Event. Speak with experienced Foreign Service Officers, Foreign Service Specialists and Civil Service Professionals about careers with the U.S. Department of State, and learn how you can advance diplomacy and represent America through both domestic and international positions.
