  April is National Poetry Month and Ocean County College is celebrating! In commemoration, OCC's English faculty will present visiting poet Dr. Rachel Wetzsteon. Light refreshments will be served. Dr. Wetzsteon is the author of two books of poems: The Other Stars (Penguin, 1994), which was selected for the National Poetry Series, and Home and Away (Penguin, 1998). Her poetry is said to be "more than merely refreshing" and her work is "informed by a true imagination, a moral concern, and a serious wit." Dr. Wetzsteon attended Yale, Johns Hopkins, and Columbia universities
