The 16th Annual California Trauma Conference is a forum to examine and discuss important topics, controversial issues, and recent advances in trauma, surgical critical care, and acute general surgery. Practicing surgeons, intensivists, general surgeons, emergency physicians, registered nurses, and all health care professionals involved in the care of severely injured and critically ill patients will have an opportunity to listen to outstanding faculty and nationally recognized experts both from within California and the United States. The format of this year's conference includes round tables, case discussions, and lectures, with ample time for discussion at the end of each session and audience participation
