  Language ETC hosts its first silent auction on Friday, April 28th 5:00 – 8:00 pm at the LETC auditorium (2200 California Street, NW). Auction tickets are $15 when purchased in advanced, or $20 at the door. All proceeds from the auction will go towards daycare cost. Kid’s Corner Daycare Center has partnered with LETC to provide daycare services for enrolled students because in the past, many students with small children have been unable to attend classes. Providing free childcare has been the solution.
Thanks to many of the local vendors and companies who have donated items to bid in order for LETC to have the event. Items include: sporting event tickets, Kennedy Center tickets, Spirit Cruise dinner tickets, gallery paintings, furniture, various custom jewelry, and more. The auction is another way to continue providing support for students financially to achieve their educational goals but also to mingle and network with other community leaders and to find out more about LETC.
