  In August 2006, Ribs ‘n’ Soul will welcome tens of thousands of enthusiastic festival goers to the 2006 Ribs ‘n’ Soul Festival. It’s back and hotter than ever! The Ribs ‘n’ Soul Festival will bring three days of outstanding mouth watering barbecue, live entertainment and consumer exposition to the Philip A. Hart Plaza in Downtown Detroit. The 2006 event will again feature a star-studded cast of major national recording artists, Art on the River - fine art exhibit, an exciting Business Expo, African village, and of course great food. Detroit is the Mecca for gospel music and on Sunday afternoon festivalgoers will experience the inspirational. A major highlight of the event is the Ribbers creating the best barbecue ribs, chicken, and other delectable dishes to satisfy the appetites of attendees.
