  DMC, the spectacular Technics World DJ Championships, spins into its 21st year at the forefront of worldwide turntable battling at Hammersmith's Palais in London. DMC and Technics host the event, which showcases the very best of the art form known as the fourth element of hip-hop. Heats are drawing to a close from Bradford to Bangladesh to track down the one true master of the decks, who must produce some supreme turntable wizardry to take the prize of a pair of gold Technics mixing decks.

The event is divided into two sections, with competitions for the single and team battles held on consecutive nights. Breaks, cuts, spins, scratches, needle drops and back spins are scrutinised by a panel of celebrity judges, not to mention over 2000 diehard fanatics.
