Author / Content Text	Whether you are interested in exploring international markets or sourcing international investment opportunities, a new business education program from the World Trade Center Atlanta can help you enhance your business potential in the global marketplace. The Academy of International Business is a program designed to offer practical skills in doing business in different cultures, economic and political systems. Participants who successfully finish the program will earn a Certificate of Completion from the Institute of International Business at Georgia State University and Georgia Tech’s Center for International Business Education and Research. The Academy of International Business is an eight-week course aimed at helping Atlanta companies and independent entrepreneurs break into the global market. Classes will be taught by business executives who have practical experience and expertise in their fields and invited faculty from GSU and Georgia Tech. Courses will focus on the following areas: • Assessing a company’s ability to grow internationally • Global marketing planning • Selling services in overseas markets • Risk management and foreign taxation • International marketing Classes begin on March 11 and conclude on May 6, and meet every Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (breakfast and lunch included). Registration fee is $595 for World Trade Center members and $795 for non-members (fees include all sessions, books and other materials). Class size is limited so participants are encouraged to register early.
