Representatives of the State Department, including Ambassadors and other senior-level members, will be present in an effort to recruit more mid-career professional Latinos, African Americans, Women, and other people  with diverse skill sets, educational and cultural backgrounds.  All interested persons are invited to attend and must RSVP to obtain entry.

The Seattle, Washington event will be the fourteenth held in this series since this national effort was initiated to ensure that the U.S. Department of State looks more like the face of America.  Previous events have been held in Houston, Los Angeles, Anaheim, San Diego, San Antonio, Miami, Atlanta, Chicago, Raleigh, Detroit, New York, and Washington DC. Future events will likely be held in other highly diverse major U.S. metro areas.
