Representatives of the U.S. State Department, including Ambassadors, Diplomats and other senior-level members, will be visiting Detroit, Michigan in an effort to recruit more Arab Americans, African Americans, Latinos and other people of color.  All interested persons are invited to attend.

The Detroit event will be the tenth held in this series since the U.S. DoS and MPN partnered to initiate this national effort to ensure that the U.S. Department of State looks more like the face of America.  Previous events have been held in Houston, Los Angeles, Anaheim, San Diego, San Antonio, Miami, Atlanta, Chicago and Raleigh. Future events will likely be held in other highly diverse major U.S. metro areas.
