The BFMC is a venue where Black filmmakers can expand and broaden their craft. The event will consist of programs and promotions that focus on the history of Black film, the spirit of “independence”, insight from both local and national filmmakers, government influences, education, and corporate relationships. The BFMC will offer a series of film screenings, workshops and expert panels, along with exposition, education/career fair, and networking events so that attendees will have a full range of understanding within the industry.
