Happenings 4 Youth will host a special half-day seminar to provide area organizations the knowledge and tools needed in their work with school-aged youth. Workshops examining the trends in substance abuse among youth will include discussions on the recent psychobiology of the adolescent brain, the dangers of alternative highs, developing assets in youth and promoting a changed environment, and the emerging “pharming” trend among youth. The program also will include an optional networking luncheon immediately following the morning program
