Thursday, Amersterdam, Neatherlands. 6:30am

The flight from the states across the Atlantic Ocean was very calm. I did sleep a great deal. The last time I was in Amsterdam was in 1985. I remember it well. I was staying in Paris and decided to take a one day trip to Amsterdam and visit Haarlem. I slept with others outside a train station on the ground. It was a great youthful experience. Today shall be a big and long day. I purchased some liquor in Amsterdam to return with it back to the USA. While I was in Detroit awaiting my flight to Amsterdam I was inspired by the MOTOWN shop. It is a small signature museum. Much nostalgia, especially the walls which has all the signatures and old newspaper clippings of the MOTOWN artists. I am now awaiting my plane (KLM Royal Dutch Airlines) to Prague. The 5 hour time change(normally 6, but we are in the midst of Day Light Savings) didn¡¯t affect me. I am thankful for the 5 whole hours. I slept on the come over flight. Before I left Florida, I received a last minute email from the director of Humanitas Afrika ( an Afro-Czech organization), ¡° Mr. Kofi ¡°Afrikatu¡± Nkrumah, asking me to contact him via cell phone when I arrive in Prague. Besides the Anemic Film Festival, the other reason I am traveling is to photograph the Afro-Czech community. I am getting sleepy again, however my journey is just beginning. I asked God to give me a fresh pair of lungs. May God bless all.
