Representatives of the U.S. State Department, including Ambassadors, Diplomats and other senior-level members, will be visiting Miami, Florida in an effort to recruit more Latinos, African Americans, Women, and other people of color. All interested persons are invited to attend.

Are you interested in overseas career opportunities to help promote U.S. diplomacy abroad? Explore Foreign Service Officer opportunities along one of five U.S. State Department career tracks: Management Affairs, Consular Affairs, Economic Affairs, Political Affairs, or Public Diplomacy. Or, consider a career as a Foreign Service Specialist in any one of 19 different areas such as Information Technology, Facilities Management, Financial Management, or Human Resources.
The Miami event will be the twelfth held in this series since this national effort was initiated to ensure that the U.S. Department of State looks more like the face of America. Previous events have been held in Houston, Los Angeles, Anaheim, San Diego, San Antonio, Miami, Atlanta, Chicago, Raleigh, Detroit, and New York. Future events will likely be held in other highly diverse major U.S. metro areas.
