Sponsored by the Iota Epsilon of Beta Sigma Phi, this annual event is open to contestants ages 5-8 residing in Portsmouth or the Western Branch boroughs of Chesapeake or the Bennett's Creek area of Suffolk. Applications are accepted on a first-come basis, and a $125 non-refundable sponsor fee is required, which covers trophies, awards, gifts and parties. The pageant is held the first weekend in May at Churchland High School. Proceeds from the pageant are used for the 'Iota Epsilon Love Fund' and the Mary Reatha Langston Memorial Scholarship for graduating high school seniors
