The original intention of the 1974 Festival in the Park was to celebrate spring’s arrival by bringing the community together with a picnic in the Park and feature the area’s Arts and Crafts. Today people continue to stroll among the shade trees of Danville’s Victorian Ballou Park and view the handmade crafts and artistic creations of over 100 professional and amateur artisans. This is the perfect opportunity to purchase a one-of-a-kind gift. Festival in the Park has evolved into a fun-filled family event with a wide variety of activities offered for all ages of participants
