Six of Chicago’s most celebrated dance companies will perform on one stage as part of the 15th anniversary of Dance for Life. The highly anticipated event is held annually to raise awareness and funds for HIV/AIDS programs while promoting the art of dance. Themed “Flight 15” this year to tip its hat to the milestone anniversary, Dance for Life is the largest performance-based AIDS fundraising event in the Midwest, having raised more than $2 million since 1992. Proceeds from the performance will benefit the AIDS Foundation of Chicago, Bonaventure House, Luck Care Center, Interfaith House, and the Dance for Life Fund.
